From Alliance Brands Limited, the creative minds behind neighbouring cocktail bar Outrage of Modesty, guests were taken through the pouring, serving, garnishing and drinking of eight featured Bottld cocktails. Led by head barman Marshall Siavash, it was an evening of tantalising flavour, fun and humour; a great indication of the experience you too can have with each neat creation.
The Bottld cocktail range consists of eight cocktails, including old school classics and lesser-known curveballs. From a gin-based Negroni, a terrific tequila Cabronita, a bourbon Old Fashioned, as well as Army Navy, Signet, Guybrush, Cannonball and T+T, it’s safe to say we left liquored up.
The joy and innovation of the range is that you’re able to make these signature cocktails – at home. Each bottle holds the ready-mixed cocktail, all you have to do it pour over ice, garnish and serve.
Who knew garnish and infused flavours could add such dynamic to cocktail drinking? With each cocktail, a quality spirit is the featured protagonist, with a secondary but no less important supporter. Each flavour profile is a work of art. We had our glasses wood-smoked for the Old Fashioned; blowtorch burnt orange, lime peel or orange garnish; ‘organic’ ice – i.e. specially carved large blocks of ice that melt slowly and dilute each drink less; and sugar syrup added for the sweeter teeth.
It’s a new and transcendent approach, and unlike the over sugared ‘cocktail’ syrups available en masse in liquor stores, Bottld is all about quality. It’s about the experience, and sharing the creativity of eight innovative cocktails with those you love. It’s about entertaining – in style – and allowing you to be the cocktail connoisseur.
All cocktails are exclusively available from The House of Machines. For the next month as part of #BlessedWednesdays, The House will be doing a special at the bar, which features two cocktails per week. Visit for the music, the vibe and taste them all.
