To Sea Point’s Regent Road comes Cape Town’s new and specialised foodie offering – this time, in the form of chocolate. Chocoholics, eat your hearts out at this adorable chocolatier, confectionery and coffee shop, with an array of sweet treats that will have you salivating.

My Sugar is the manifestation of a lifelong love for chocolate by Kaylah Greenberg. Combining passion, skill and a healthy dash of craziness, My Sugar is unique and quirky – in the sweetest way.

Behind the glass panel lie chocolates in regimented rows that ooze creativity. Choose from sweet salty pretzel bark; cute little chocolate pyramids filled with cookie dough, cashew nut butter or toasted coconut; moulded chocolate skulls and a finely burnt crème brûlée bar.

Order a cup of coffee, served European style, and take a seat in the small but airy canteen space. The extended offering of fudge, caramel popcorn and cake in a jar make My Sugar a carnival of calories – but the best and most worthwhile calories.

Kaylah is there and smiling, enthusiastically helping visitors to her proud creations. With training as a pastry chef and international experience scouting confectioneries for skill and ideas, we’re glad she brought her passion home.
